COFIPLEX™ Woven fabrics are classified as to weave or structure according to the manner in which warp and weft cross each other. The three fundamental weaves, of which others are variations, are the plain, twill, and satin.
In recent years multiaxial fabrics have begun to find favour in the construction of composite components. These fabrics consist of one or more layers of long fibres held in place by a secondary non-structural stitching tread.
COFIPLEX™ Multi-Axial fabrics are classified as Unidirectional, Biaxial, Triaxial, Quadriaxial fabrics.
